A week before TRASHionals X, why not give your brain a little warm-up exercise and have fun at the same time?

WHO? Anybody who would like to take a test on a mix of academic and pop culture trivia.

WHAT? A written test of two hours to complete 30 questons in 8 categories questions in eight topic areas:
1) Culture including Architecture, Fine Arts, Philosophy, Museums, Religion, Mythology
2) Entertainment including Music including Classical, Blues, Film Score, Jazz, Rock, World), Ballet, Musicals and Operas, Radio, Television
3) History (<450AD),(450-1492),(1492-1900),(1900-date), Current Affairs, Explorations, Famous People, Civilizations
4) Lifestyle including Costume, Design, Fashion, Food & Drink, Handicrafts, Health & Fitness,Human Body, New Age Beliefs, Products & Brands, Tourism
5) Media including Movies [(1900-1980), (1980-2000)], (recent), Literature [(<1900),(1900-1980),(recent)], Poetry, Drama, Comics, Language
6) Science including Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Social Sciences, Fauna, Flora
7) Sport including Track and Field, Team Sports, Motor Sports, Winter Sports, Games, Hobbies & Passtimes, Records
8) World including Geography, Cities, Space, Technology, Transport, Inventions

WHERE? A variety of locations across the US. We are looking for additional locations - see http://iqausa.googlepages.com/siteregistration for details. It could be at a coffee shop, a college lecture hall, a park, on a cross country plane fight... just need a place where people can put pen to paper, and a proctor to distribute and collect the test scores and send them in.

WHY? For the glory of competition! See how you stack up against people from various parts of the US, Canada, and the United Kingdom, as well as to get ready for the World Quiz Championships coming up on June 2nd.

WHEN? April 14th 2007 at approximately the following times:
6-8:30pm Greenwich, 2:30-5pm Atlantic, 1pm-3:30pm Eastern, noon-2:30pm Central, 11am-1:30pm Mountain, 10am-12:30pm Pacific
