The TRASH Times and Other Stuff Monday, November 27, 2006: TRASH Regionals 2006 is over and done with. Thanks to all the teams who competed this time around, and thanks to everyone who have commented, both privately and in public forums, about what they liked and what they didn't like about the tournaments.Let's take a look at the results, starting with the Northeast Regional at Boston University. Here's Nathan Bragg...NYU A ran the table at this year's edition of the New England TRASH Regionals tournament with a record of 10-0. Gerbil Royale (8-2) and Brandeis A: Who is Mike Jones? (8-2) round out the top three. These three teams garnered amazing literary prizes for their hard day's work, including a novelization of "Me, Myself, and Irene" and "Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man," the autobiography of Tim Allen. We'd like to offer our utmost gratitude to the writers and editors of TRASH, as well as our moderating staff, which today included Mark and Sarah Coen, Jason Block, Steve Watchorn, and Hannah from Brandeis. We couldn't have pulled it off without you. Stats for the TRASH Regional tournament at BU can be found here: http://people.bu.edu/qbowl/qbowl/trashreg_standings.html James // 12:41 PM ______________________
