The TRASH Times and Other Stuff Friday, May 19, 2006: I have just received word from Paul Bailey and Bill Schantz that Fred Schlachter, who competed for J is for Genius at both the 2005 TRASH Rocky Mountain Regional and TRASHionals 9 from Outer Space, passed away last weekend.Mr. Schlachter was the top scorer for J is for Genius at TRASHionals 9, averaging 30 points a game.A memorial service for Mr. Schlachter will be held this coming Sunday at 5pm at Fagan's, located on 1135 East Evans Avenue in Denver, Colorado.TRASH would like to extend its deepest condolences to Mr. Schlachter's family, friends and teammates.
