The TRASH Times and Other Stuff Sunday, August 14, 2005: TRASH (Testing Recall About Strange Happenings) would like to send its condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Robert Meredith, who passed away earlier this month.Dr. Meredith is considered by many to be a pioneer in quizbowl competition, as he innovated the 20-tossup, untimed, all 30-point bonus format that has become the staple of many collegiate quiz tournaments, as well as the standard format of both ACF and TRASH (albeit, with a few tweaks).
