The TRASH Times and Other Stuff
Thursday, February 17, 2005:
First off, the deadline for baseball tickets has been extended until Friday, February 25th.
Now, the following press release from TRASH...
TRASH (Testing Recall About Strange Happenings) is pleased to announce that, despite the efforts of NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA executive director Bob Goodenow, it will ask ice hockey questions at TRASHionals 2005: The Fish That 8 Pittsburgh, scheduled for the weekend of April 15-17, 2005 at the University of Pittsburgh.
"Mr. Bettman and Mr. Goodenow may have killed major league professional hockey for the first half of 2005, but they will not eliminate hockey questions from TRASHionals," James Dinan, TRASH Business Manager, said Thursday, "it is my pleasure to tell TRASH players and officials that they should expect hockey questions at the tournament."
"The NHL may be on life support," Dinan concluded, "but hockey lives on at TRASH."
