The TRASH Times and Other Stuff Thursday, July 15, 2004: TRASH will be posting information on TRASH Regionals tournaments in the coming days, but first, the folks at Testing Recall About Strange Happenings would like to issue the following challenge to a certain ESPN TV personality. For the last few weeks, Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon have discussed the success of *Jeopardy!* superstar Ken Jennings, himself a former TRASH player. And in the last few days, Kornheiser has been criticizing Jennings for his winning streak, calling him a loser and whatnot. He also took a swipe at all-time one-day champion (and Tia and the TRASHmen star) Brian Weikle, referring to him as a *dolt*. It seems to TRASH that Tony K. is jealous of Ken and Brian because he failed to get on J! On more than one episode, Kornheiser has noted that he tried out for the Art Fleming version of J!, and received the highest score on the written test. But he failed to get on the show, being set aside in favor of two contestants who, in Tony K.'s words, were a little more eccentric. Since Mr. Kornheiser believes he can talk the talk when it comes to Ken and Brian, TRASH is challenging him to walk the walk as well. Tony Kornheiser -- TRASH is inviting you to attend TRASHionals 8 on the weekend of April 15-17, 2005 at a site TBD. Invites will also be sent to Mr. Jennings and Mr. Weikle. TRASH wants all three to compete in a *Triple Threat* trivia tussle to determine who truly is the *King of the Mountain*. Tony, if you agree to attend TRASHionals 8, we guarantee that you will have a great time. And TRASH hopes that you are ready to, in the words of a great American, to walk that aisle and show that to be the man, you gotta go out and beat the man. TRASH awaits your reply.
